About The Founders

Snow Huo, CEO, and Jacob Greenway, CTO, are the cofounders of Langfinity. They are ex-interpreters and engineers who’ve built software products for millions of users and they have a strong personal connection to the problem of language as a barrier.

Snow moved to the United States at 17, and was laughed at and picked on for not being able to speak English in high school. At the time, she imagined a world where people could instantaneously understand one another regardless of what languages they spoke.

Over the past 10 years, she’s worked on multilingual teams with team members who struggle to communicate and collaborate effectively due to language barriers. She also worked as a remote Chinese interpreter for the California Department of Public Health, witnessing firsthand the high costs and logistical challenges of human interpretation.

They initially built Langfinity to solve their own problems, and have now grown to help even more organizations and individuals.
