ABOUT US
Building collective economic power for women.
VEST is a social impact platform advancing women’s economic mobility through community, storytelling, policy advocacy, and collective action.
We bring together women, organizations, and advocates working to expand opportunity, support policies that benefit women and families, and create more equitable pathways to advancement and long-term economic growth.
Despite progress, women continue to face systems that limit economic opportunity, advancement, and long-term financial stability. From caregiving expectations to workplace inequities and barriers to leadership, women are too often expected to adapt to systems that were never designed with them in mind.
Most professional communities focus on helping women navigate those systems individually. VEST exists to help change them collectively. We believe advancing women’s economic mobility requires more than resilience and self-correction. It requires community, access, institutional change, and collective action.
VISION
We envision a future where women have equitable access to opportunity, economic security, leadership, and long-term wealth building, regardless of background, identity, or career path. A future where workplaces, policies, and institutions are designed to support women’s full participation, advancement, and well-being.
PERSPECTIVE
We believe women’s economic mobility must be approached through an intersectional lens, recognizing that race, caregiving responsibilities, disability, immigration status, socioeconomic background, and other systemic factors shape access to opportunity differently. When we say women, we mean it inclusively, including trans women, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people.
